Helping to create a feeling of luxury

We develop our solutions constantly to keep them ahead of the competition. Our toilets are the most silent on the market, and we are the sole supplier of vacuum urinals. A wide range of optional covers and buttons are available and we have also made toilets in custom colors and shapes.

Our offering also includes hygienic food-waste collection and treatment units, as well as equipment for reducing the volume of recyclable and non-recyclable dry waste on board. We are the only supplier with expertise in vacuum collecting both wastewater and food waste. Using systems from just one supplier simplifies maintenance and reduces the need for spare part storage, as parts are interchangeable.

Bespoke solutions for changing needs

Our customers have very different needs, so we pride ourselves on our ability to take customer needs and changing operating areas into account right from vessel construction, with our large offering and flexible processes.

Our systems meet the strictest International Maritime Organization environmental regulations, and can also be operated in Environmentally Sensitive Sea Areas (ESSAs) and Special Areas (SAs). Our wastewater treatment membrane bioreactors are already equipped with nutrient removal systems, which will soon be required in Special Areas like the Baltic Sea.

Compact sized marine growth prevention systems

Cathelco has been part of Evac Group since 2018. Cathelco’s marine growth prevention systems are fitted on some of the most prestigious superyachts in the world. However, by miniaturising anodes and control panels, the same well proven technology is available to protect thousands of luxury yachts and cruisers.

The Mini system has been designed for larger luxury yachts with a number of seawater inlets. With its compact design, the solution can easily be fitted in engine rooms where space is limited.

The Nano  systems are custom-made for their applications to provide anti-fouling only or a combination of anti-fouling and corrosion suppression. A variety of anode types are available to fit within the smallest strainers, including anodes with integral cathodes for plastic strainers and individually mounted cathodes to reduce corrosion.

Hull corrosion protection systems

The appearance and hull integrity of luxury yachts, whether built from steel or aluminium, can be seriously compromised by corrosion. Traditional methods of protection involve the use of sacrificial anodes which add extra weight and drag as well as spoiling the smooth lines of the craft. Sacrificial anodes also need to be replaced at regular intervals to remain effective.

Our Cathelco corrosion protection systems eliminate these problems using the most advanced impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) technology. We have also developed systems which protect water jet tunnels on high speed leisure craft.

Our systems are specified by some of the world’s leading yacht designers and builders, and can be fitted to craft of 15 metres upwards.
